Contact support
Email: hamza@teamwheelsapp.com
We reply within one business day (Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 Paris time). Support is available in English and French.
To help us answer quickly, include:
- your organization name and the Microsoft Teams client you use (desktop, web, iOS or Android);
- what you were trying to do and what happened instead;
- a screenshot of the card or message, if you have one;
- the approximate date and time (with your time zone).
Please do not send passwords or other secrets by email. We never ask for them.
Help inside the app
TeamWheels answers most questions directly in the chat. Open the TeamWheels conversation in Teams and type help (or aide in French) to see what the app can do and the phrases it understands. The Help card also has a Support button that brings you to this page.
You can also use the commands listed in the message box:
- Offer a ride — announce a carpool you are driving.
- Find a carpool — search upcoming rides on your route and date.
- List my trips — see the carpools you drive or have joined.
- Carpool stats — see your company’s numbers for the last 30 days.
Common questions
I cannot find TeamWheels in Teams. The app is installed from the Teams app store (AppSource). Your IT administrator may need to approve it first. If it is blocked, ask your Teams administrator to allow the “TeamWheels” app in the Teams admin center.
Do I need a TeamWheels account? No. TeamWheels uses your existing Microsoft Teams identity. There is no separate sign-up and no password to manage.
No ride matched my search. Ride search returns trips on the same calendar date within 25 km of the requested origin and destination. Try a nearby town or another date, or offer the ride yourself so colleagues can join you.
I did not receive a reminder or a notification. Reminders are sent 24 hours and 1 hour before departure, in the chat and in the Teams activity feed. Check that notifications for TeamWheels are enabled in Teams settings, and that the trip is still confirmed. Reminder timing is not configurable yet.
The app created, changed or cancelled something I did not want. TeamWheels only creates, changes or cancels a trip when you confirm with a button on a card. If you believe something happened without your confirmation, email us with the trip details and we will investigate.
Where is my data stored, and how do I delete it? Trip data is stored in your organization’s Azure region. Your employer is the data controller for the app. To access or erase your data, contact your employer’s Teams administrator or email us. Details are in the privacy policy .
For IT administrators
- Installation: deploy TeamWheels from the Teams admin center or let users install it from the Teams app store.
- Permissions: the app requests identity and messageTeamMembers, plus the resource-specific permission TeamsActivity.Send.User to post reminders to the activity feed.
- Domains: the app calls
bot.teamwheelsapp.comonly. - Removal: uninstalling the app for your tenant stops all processing. Email us to request deletion of stored trip data.
For contractual questions (subscription agreement, order form, data processing agreement) or a demo, write to contact@teamwheels.fr or use the contact page .
